At the webinar, we will present the forecast improvements we have implemented in recent years in Aiolos.
These improvements are:

  • The development of new AI models
  • How we have scanned and evaluated different weather data providers
  • Improvements in system support for handling poor-quality data
  • The ability to combine and weight external forecast models
  • And more

These activities are part of our project “Sub2%”, which was launched with the goal of reducing our forecast error from 3% to below 2%.
To achieve this target, we had to review and enhance many different parts of Aiolos. This webinar will describe that journey and share our experiences and key learnings along the way.

Our aim with this webinar is twofold:

  • For companies that have not yet evaluated Aiolos, we hope to provide enough insights to encourage a test or benchmark.
  • For those not currently considering a test, we hope to offer useful ideas and best practices that your own forecasting team can apply.

Please note: This webinar will focus on our improvements in electricity-and gas forecasts. Similar advancements have also been made in our wind and solar forecasting, which will be presented at a later webinar.
